Enjoyed a cup of coffee with a friend on the window overlooking the canal. It was nice. Waitress is also nice.

Central restaurant in Utrecht serving dishes to share with a bistro experience. This restaurant is a good shot if you haven't reserved on a Friday or Saturday evening. We started with 6 oysters which were nice and fresh. We had beef brisket, sea wolf (fish), chicken and parmesan 'creme brulee'. The last dish was supposed to be a sort of cold carbonara without pasta, it didn't taste good. The brisket was not tender so we mentioned this and the waiter kindly removed it from the bill. The other two dishes tasted very very good, totally contrasting the other two dishes. We actually ordered the fish again because it tasted so good. Service was friendly and efficient although not very personal. Wines were slightly expensive for their quality.

Cozy place with shared dining concept. Smiling personnel that help you to choose dishes and drinks, a calm atmosphere, view on channel. Different dishes to choose from, everything tastes great. If you are hungry and not planning to share dishes you will definitely need to order two or more.

We have a lovely evening at Guillotine. Excellent food, particularly the fish and chicken, but all was excellent. Delicious and special cocktails. Great service. We were lucky to sit by the windows to the canal, very much enjoyed it.

We had a spectacular dinner! The popcorn polenta was definitely the best polenta we’ve ever had. The rose sold by the glass is fantastic as well. Service was really nice and it has a lovely atmosphere. Thank you thank you!

Guillotine serves little dishes to share that are extraordinary. Every dish is a surprise for your tong. The most surprising dish was the watermelon. I assure you you will be equally surprised. Staff was very friendly and very helpful in choosing the right dishes and the right wine to accompany the dish. You really need to make a reservation because it is usually fully booked. Happy to had a change to get in and dine there 😊👍🏻

I had such high expectations for this restaurant after reading the good reviews but it was big Disappointment. The parmezaan crème brule was the worst thing I have ever tasted it was sweet and watery and cold. The best part of this restaurant was the wine and the bread!

Great service and atmosphere. Portions of shared dining are so small. Hard to share! I believe they should rethink the sharing concept. The food itself is ok.
